Points of Light – Global Volunteer Month
Points of Light Launches New PSA for Global Volunteer Month in April
Research shows that 87% of people will make time for a worthwhile volunteer opportunity, yet 44% are unsure how to get involved or where to find opportunities to volunteer. Global Volunteer Month was established to inspire and activate volunteers in support of the most vulnerable populations.
This April, celebrate the power of people who tackle society’s greatest challenges, and build stronger, more vibrant communities through everyday actions. Individuals, nonprofits, companies and government officials can get involved and join the celebration by recognizing volunteers, finding volunteer opportunities and accessing resources to make a difference in their community.
In this new PSA, Points of Light, the world’s largest nonprofit dedicated to accelerating people-powered change, is reminding us that every action, no matter how small, can change a life. By airing this PSA, you can encourage listeners to recognize individual action and inspire more people to volunteer in their communities.
