Healthy Women/Magnolia Meals At Home
In order to help ease the stress of daily life for breast cancer patients and their families, HealthyWomen.org is working with Magnolia Meals at Home, a no-cost meal delivery service to those suffering from breast cancer.
There is no requirement for financial need to participate and those eligible can receive up to two months of home meal deliveries, including meals designed to help meet the nutritional needs of people living with breast cancer.
On this page you can download a 30 second radio PSA from HealthyWomen, urging people in the participating service areas to visit magnoliamealsathome.com and sign up for the free service.
The PSA is targeted to the following locations where deliveries are made: Northern New Jersey and the Westchester area of NY; Andover, MA; Raleigh-Durham, NC; Boston, MA and select areas in New Hampshire. Lists of the towns where delivery is available can be downloaded below.
Magnolia Meals at Home is a partnership among Magnolia, CancerCare, Cancer Support Community, Meals On Wheels Association of America and Cornucopia Cancer Support Center.
Thank you for helping to spread the word about this program and for supporting the many families who will benefit from these meals.
In good health,
Beth Battaglino, RN
